Azure offers three main cloud computing platform services:

IaaS – Infrastructure as a Service

PaaS – Platform as a Service.

Platform as a service (PaaS) is a complete development and deployment environment in the cloud, with resources that enable you to deliver everything from simple cloud-based apps to sophisticated, cloud-enabled enterprise applications. You purchase the resources you need from a cloud service provider on a pay-as-you-go basis and access them over a secure Internet connection.

The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is a personal data protection regulation that has been applied since May 25, 2018, and affected all organizations who store or process personal data of European Union (EU) citizens.

Adjusting with GDPR becomes a required for the business of each organization. Without alignment, the supervisory authorities can issue huge penalties.

Lower penalties are related to small mistakes, and an amount can reach 10 million euros. The higher penalties are related to the violation of personal rights, and an amount can reach 20 million euros.
